When I was hired at Army Times Publishing Company, a Gannett company, I started helping out with the redesign of the military websites. There were a total of five sites (1. armytimes.com, 2. navytimes.com, 3. airforcetimes.com, 4. marinecorpstimes.com and 5. militarytimes.com) being designed at the same time. They all had the same design with the exception of branding, color and content.
During this project, I helped the web designer with mockup changes and was responsible for certain sections of the site. There were also several micro-sites that I was responsible for setting up.
