The Defense News web site was a rushed redesign. At the time, I was the Jr. Web Designer and ended up being the lead designer for the project. My department was short of a Web Designer, so I had a lot of responsibility to fill.
Some of the goals that were accomplished with this project was a cleaner and more organized design, improved site navigation, more news headlines, more photos, enhanced site search, and more advertising spots.
